About Me

Welcome! I am a Graphic/Digital Designer, interested in UX/UI design, currently working for an eCommerce company, as well as a Freelance Graphic Artist. Thanks to my experience working as a Digital Designer, I have a great understanding of colour theory and typography, and understand foundational concepts in UX design, such as user-centred design, the design process, accessibility, and equity focused design. I am confident in my knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Photoshop, AfterEffects and Illustrator, as well as softwares such as Procreate and Figma. Through my position, I design and create social media assets, I am responsible for the weekly update of our company's homepage, I generate promotional creative suites for sale events, as well as build creative emails through Figma and Photoshop sent to our customers, working with premium brands such as Hugo Boss, Vivienne Westwood, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein daily.

I am a graduate of Manchester School of Art at Manchester Metropolitan University, with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art. During my time at university, I vastly improved my technical abilities and honed my practical skills whilst developing my conceptual understanding and translated all this in my work. In my degree, I focused my attention on the potential of digital art and the newfound ways of depicting my ideas and themes that had been opened up through utilising different softwares, offering up alternative ways of thinking and expression. My degree being in Fine Art has shown me the importance of connecting with the viewers senses and emotions, as well as the importance of thinking conceptually. This is something I carry through in my design work, and is something I am passionate about when working on design projects.

Currently, I am looking for a design position in which I can continue to push the boundaries of my skills and work within a company that will allow me to develop.
